Ruby is just a lovely little lady with the captivating eyes and loving personality !

She is friendly and slightly shy, but does come out of her shell with time. Ruby likes to be held, enjoys playing with other dogs, and just loves being with people. She walks well on a leash, but large vehicles can intimidate her at times. Ruby is mildly anxious and would prefer living in a quiet neighborhood. This precious girl is presently being fostered by one of our volunteers, and the foster mom reports that Ruby is very sweet and really loves belly rubs ! According to the foster mom, Ruby warms up easily to children and females and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and another dog. She does great in a crate at night and the foster mom is working with Ruby on house training. Ruby came to us from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky.
